Happy Halloween!

I’m actually a day late in this post, but here it is nevertheless.  I wish I could say that I was doing something so fantastic that I didn’t have the time to post, like attending a Halloween party or handing out candy to eager and adorable trick-or-treaters.  But no, in reality, I was hunkered down in my condo, blinds drawn, TV off, and only one light on, praying that no one would ring my doorbell.  It all ended well though because no one came anyway.  I admit it; I was Halloween’s equivalent to the Grinch (is there such a thing?).  I didn’t dress up in costume last weekend, I didn’t attend a party, and I didn’t even eat one piece of Halloween candy even though I was surrounded by it at work yesterday.  Perhaps I’m an anomaly, but I’m just not into Halloween.

Except that I sort of was because I tried out this new top knot which I’m absolutely in love with and wish that I had found it like yesterday.  Or even sooner than that.  Thank you, Pinterest.

It’s amazing, right?

I also wore my glasses to work.  Thankfully, no one asked me if I really need glasses or if they were a fashion accessory like last time.  I appreciated it.

However, I did get asked if I had dressed up for Halloween.  No, I replied, why do you ask?  Apparently, I looked like I was pretending to be a partner.  I think my dress is waaaay to short and um, lace, for that to fly.  But you decide.  (Please excuse the creepy mirror photo.)

Hope you all had a better costume than I did, didn’t hide from trick-or-treaters, and actually ate some candy.
